MTA On the Road 2016

img_8461For the past several years, we have been regulars at the yearly MTA On the Road events. MTA On the Road is a series of events presented by the Michigan Townships Association and hosted in various communities across Michigan. At these events, representatives from townships come to learn about the latest happenings in township legislation, see what new resources are available to townships, and enjoy the company of other township officials and vendors.

Our role at these events is to inform townships of our website development, document management, mobile app development, and graphic design services that could be useful to them, and connect with townships who are looking for these services. Gladwin County Council Meeting

IMG_1290We were very excited to attend a Gladwin County Council Meeting last month. We are very thankful to Colin Combs of Secord Township and the rest of the Gladwin County Officials for letting us come and speak at the event. We are currently working with Clement Township on a new website, so we thought it would be a great idea to attend this meeting and speak with more township officials in the Gladwin area. We spoke at the meeting about what we could do to help make townships more accessible to residents and more efficient for board members. 2016 MAMC Annual Conference

MAMC-2016The STG team was fortunate enough to be able attend this year’s annual Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks Conference right in our home town of Lansing. The Radisson Hotel and Lansing Center were excellent venues for the event this year and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The president of MAMC Joe Bridgman as well as the rest of the Board of Directors put on a fantastic conference full of great food, excellent speakers, and very informative education sessions. The whole conference was wrapped around a fun and entertaining western theme (hence the name of the event, MAMC Capital Stampede.)
