A Few Of The Most Useful Apps For Business People…and Everyone Else!

That being said, we have attempted to avoid the painfully obvious and incredibly common, while also making a point of including handy apps that are less commonly utilized in a business setting.

Allows you to run Microsoft Office on Apple devices.

CloudOn is particularly useful, because not only does it allow you to open Microsoft Office on the iPad and Android tablets, it also also supports several of the more advanced features and is specifically designed to work well with a touch based interface.

An app that helps you to remember people.

Remembering people is hard. Evernote Hello makes it easy by creating a rich, browsable history of individuals, encounters and shared experiences. However, the business card scanning feature is only available in the iOS version for Apple iPhones and tablets.

Checkmark

Keeps you and your to-do list organized.

Checkmark is a to-do-list app on steroids. It can set up reminders based on time, contacts, or location. It is great at setting up reminders based on proximity, meaning that if you have tasks that are near one another, it will alert you. For example: if your bank is next to your pharmacy, it will remind you to pick up your prescription while you’re there.

My Secret Folder

Protects your documents and phone if it ever gets stolen.

As a businessman/woman, odds are there files that you wouldn’t want someone else have access to if your phone is lost or stolen.
