WEDM Machining
RTC is capable of creating some of the most complex precision components with EDM Machining (Electric Discharge Machining). This process shapes any conductive material through the use of electric discharges. By running a current between two electrodes, it precisely erodes any conductive material. At RTC we have over 80 years of combined EDM experience, and currently utilize wire and Fast Hole Drilling EDM machines.
Our extensive EDM experience, coupled with the latest 5-axis “turn and burn” wire EDM, multi-axis diesink EDM, and Fast hole EDM machinery, allows us to create extremely geometrically complex precision components.
